This is a consequence of the new requirements in the radio equipment directive (RED). There is a misconception in the market that companies can sit on the fence until 2024. For products on the market and products in development, manufacturers must take action now and ensure their cyber security compliance, so they don't run the risk of having their products withdrawn from the market in 2024. About the Presenter

Geir Hørthe Cyber Security Manager He has worked at Nemko for more than 30 years, in the capacity of test services, lab manager of safety, ATEX and medical departments. He has also been Managing Director at the Nemko office in London for two years. After he returned to Norway, he held for many years the position as Certification Manager at Nemko HQ with responsibilities for electrical product certifications, for national and international certification.

Tore Ledaal Head of PMO Tore Ledaal is the leader of Nemko technical services. He has a background in Safety testing and has over 20 years of experience in various Nemko locations including working for Nemko China to assist in setting up their laboratories. He is also the leader of the national committee NK 34 for luminaires and represents Nemko in the IEC CTL
